Privacy notice

We collect almost nothing. Here's the "almost" — in plain language.

robotfantome.com is a static site: no accounts, no analytics, no ad trackers, no tracking cookies, no database of visitors. Personal information enters the picture in exactly two places — when you buy something from the shop, and when you email us. This page explains both.

Browsing this site

Reading the press-kit, blog, or mix-tape sends no personal data to us. The site is served by GitHub Pages with Cloudflare in front; both process standard request logs (like IP addresses) to deliver and protect the site — not on our behalf for tracking, and we receive no visitor data from either. Fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser requests font files from Google's servers.

Your cart

The shop cart lives in your browser's localStorage — on your device, never transmitted to us while you browse. When you press Checkout, the only thing sent to our checkout service is the list of item ids and quantities. No name, no address, no payment details.

Paying with Stripe

Payment happens on a Stripe-hosted checkout page. Stripe collects your name, email, shipping address, and card details under Stripe's privacy policy. Card details never touch this site or our servers — not even in transit.

What we receive after an order

When your payment completes, Stripe notifies our checkout service, which emails us the order: your name, email address, shipping address, and what you bought. We use it for exactly one thing — packing and shipping your order (shared with the postal carrier only as needed for delivery). Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require; we never sell them, share them for marketing, or add you to any list you didn't ask for. Our systems store no customer database — only stock counts.

The mailing list

Joining the mailing list is a plain email you send us. We keep your address only to send drop, release, and show announcements, and we delete it the moment you reply asking out. No third-party marketing platform, no tracking pixels.

Your data, your call

Want to know what we have about you, or want it deleted? Email absolutelyplausible@gmail.com and we'll answer and act — noting only that completed-order records we're legally required to keep (tax, accounting) stay until those clocks run out. If this site ever starts collecting more than described here, this page changes first and the effective date below moves.
