The deal, in plain language. Buying from the shop means you're okay with all of this.

Who you're buying from

The Robot Fantôme shop is operated by Absolutely Plausible Solutions, Orlando, FL. Questions, problems, pickup arrangements — one inbox: absolutelyplausible@gmail.com.

What you're buying

Most items are handmade, upcycled, or one-of-a-kind — reclaimed materials, visible wear, saw marks, and irregularities are the point, not defects. Product photos show the actual item where it's unique, and a representative copy for prints and small runs. Where a listing says prints only, the original is not for sale and never included.

Prices, stock, and payment

Prices are in US dollars. Your browser cart is display-only — every order is re-priced server-side from the live catalog at checkout, and the server price is the price. One-of-a-kind items have exactly one in stock; if two people race for it and both payments go through, the later order is refunded in full. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe on a Stripe-hosted page (see the privacy notice). An order is accepted when Stripe confirms payment and you receive Stripe's confirmation email.

Shipping & local pickup

We currently ship within the United States only. Orders ship from Orlando, FL, typically within 5 business days — everything is packed by one human, not a warehouse. Pallet artifacts and other heavy or oversized pieces are local pickup (Orlando) or freight by arrangement only; their listings say so, checkout won't ship them, and we coordinate pickup by email after purchase.

Returns & refunds

Because most pieces are one-of-a-kind, sales are final — with two exceptions, both fully on us:

Arrived damaged. Email us within 14 days of delivery with a photo and we'll refund in full or replace where a replacement exists (prints and stickers, usually).
Lost in transit. If tracking shows your order never arrived, tell us and we'll refund in full.
Refunds go back to the original payment method via Stripe.

Artwork rights

Buying a piece or a print buys you the physical object, not the copyright. Site imagery is licensed CC BY-NC 4.0 — share with attribution, no commercial use. Reproduction of purchased works for commercial purposes needs written permission.

The boring-but-necessary part

Goods are provided as described; our liability for any order is capped at what you paid for it. These terms are governed by Florida law. If we ever change these terms, the changes apply to orders placed after the change, and the effective date below moves.
